Nice and homely castle in a nice environment. Very nice and service minded staff. We had dinner, used the spa, slept over and had breakfast. The only negative was that the hot tub was not heated so we could not use it. Otherwise we had a very nice stay. It is recommended to have a car when visiting the castle as there is limited public transportation there and can also be difficult to find taxis.

Very cozy accommodation, nice rooms and nice surroundings. Maybe not to stay several days but definitely worth it if you want a cozy overnight stay along the way. The breakfast is good and quite okay. The best was waffles and bacon

Beautifully located with a great tranquility. Large beautiful and well-kept areas that were suitable for walks. Nice treatment of everyone who worked at the hotel. The breakfast had everything to be desired. Nice environment and the selection was perfect. Nice rooms that were well cleaned, fresh and with comfortable beds. Good pressure in the shower.

We, me and my daughter booked a night with dinner in the evening. A fantastic reception from the staff. They took care of us in the best way and made sure we got the best out of the castle.

From the restaurant I ordered lamb and damned if it wasn't the best lamb I've ever had! 10 out of 10 on it.

I'm writing this six months later and I can still feel that lamb melting in my mouth 😃 thank you. The warmth of the staff is still there too.

The room had a lot of patina but was nice and it fit perfectly in an old castle.

Could not be better! Many of us were there and celebrated a beautiful and amazing wedding. Impressively nice in every way! A very nice welcome by those who worked, they did everything to make it perfect for us who were there to celebrate a wedding, By that I mean 'everything' extra mil 'on mass' and not just as you expect but for example. we needed nail polish remover - and wonderful Linnea got someone from home to deliver both that and cotton balls. We needed trays for flower petals and no doubt we had to use silver wine coolers to use outside the church. Beautiful surroundings, fruit trees, parks, lake with water lilies, beautiful rooms and halls where you can feel the wings of history. Highly recommend!

Nice environment. Nice place that is perfect for weddings or just take a weekend. Good food and very good breakfast. Only takes 1 hour to get here from Stockholm. Highly recommend going here to just relax.
